Almost Islanders is currently a fraternity of seven musicians all hailing from San Diego, and one drummer with roots tied to Chicago. Originally formed in 2006, their evolution reflects the very nature of their identity as an emerging musical contributor to Southern California good music in the lexicon of reggae and world beat. Despite their origins outside the universe of Hawaiian culture or Island music, and drawing their influences in HIP HOP, R&B, Rock, Jazz & Blues, it’s only a natural evolution that they find themselves drawn to the rhythms of Hawaiian Ohana spirit dominant to the lifestyle of beach culture in these parts of the Pacific Ocean.
Today they are made up of: Brothers, Arvin & Berny Reyes; Alfred Enano; Christian Paus; Erwin Panergayo; Harold Mishenko; and Rich Trajano
